WE ARE A NATION DIVIDED, WHO WILL COME OUT THE WINNER?

So you head to the supermarket, the parking lot is pretty full, you see someone pulling out of a parking space, you flick your turn signal and you wait for the person to leave…only someone coming in the opposite direction, sees you, sees your blinker on yet chooses to take your space anyhow…what do you do? Since we are all carrying guns you wait until the dude gets out of the car and you shoot the bastard.

You are driving down a busy road, some cunt is on the phone next to you, cuts you off and you have to hit the brakes; all the groceries in the back seat fall on the floor, you are pissed…what do you do? Just drive a couple of blocks, when you get to the traffic light roll your window down and shoot the bitch.

Social Security has been privatized…in a few years, maybe not even two, there is another stock market meltdown and everyone’s retirement funds evaporate into thin air. Since Medicare and Medicaid has been done away with and with the high premiums health insurance companies are charging, what you may have is a couple million homeless, unhealthy seniors living under bridges out of cardboard boxes and begging in the streets. People drop dead from their untreated illnesses and freeze to death when the cold weather arrives.

A Constitutional amendment has been passed…it is a four prong deal: America is officially a Christian Nation, Marriage is defined as that union between a man and a woman and homosexuality is criminalized, abortion is illegal and prayer in the schools is mandatory. You would think that we then could have more religious freedom but the opposite is the case, except of course if you are an Evangelical Fundamentalist or a ~~Moron~~ Mormon, Seventh Day Adventist or any of the other fringe cults. You are just plain out of luck if you are a Jew, a Muslim, a Catholic, agnostic or Buddhist. Of course the religious fanatics are going to be as happy as pigs in shit as they wallow in that mud puddle of superstition and ignorance.

I frankly don’t want to live in that America just so that the rich can get richer, the corporations have total control, pay no taxes and the religious fanatics have a theocracy…that is not our America and surely the loser in this culture war is not so much those of us who are old, on Social Security, on Medicare, or who are agnostics and could care less about prayer or religion…
