IT IS JUST EXACTLY WHAT WE THOUGHT AND FEARED
Our fears were not unfounded; with this Citizen’s United Supreme Court ruling we now know that unprecedented amounts of money are being spent on political campaigns and the Republicans are leading the way in terms of spending.
The disturbing part is that all of these abundant sums available to Republican-Tea Bagger candidates have absolute secrecy…nobody knows where it comes from nor who has donated it. For all we know it could very well be foreign special interests; it could come from the three major donors who are lurking in the shadows avoiding any publicity and doing so in perfect anonymity. I am referring to the Koch brothers and American Crossroads and groups like it.
So that the Supreme Court ruling was a blessing, a God-send if you will for all these ultra-right wing conservatives who are spending unlimited amounts of money without disclosure of its origins.
And now I can afford the luxury of using this sign for me and for millions of Americans who are now disenfranchised by the special interest groups and big corporation donations in anonymity; because they are really taking away our America.
