Jihad Kathie!! Grand-Burqa & German-Jihadi Hubby ~ of Interest - Video

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis woman dubbed "Jihad Kathie" by some online admits she's on the radar of U.S. authorities after a video she made with her husband, but denies she has any links to terrorism.

Claims nothing to do with terrorism - look at the pic. below ~ clearly they are emulating violent jihadism.

Kathie Smith, 46, a U.S. citizen and a convert to Islam, married a man last year who FoxNews.com reported is a suspected German jihadist, and has been flying back and forth to Germany to visit him.

Recently, a nearly six-minute video surfaced showing Smith and her husband, known online as Salahudin Ibn Ja'far, 28, posing, hugging and holding weapons along with photos of men accused of plotting attacks against Americans in Germany and assorted jihadist propaganda.

Problem is the two above - have committed no terrorist act - i.e. they are still with us.

"They're saying it's my husband… that I married, who's in Germany, has ties to ... a cell over in Germany, and that's not true,” Smith, who goes by the Muslim name Zubaida, told 6News' Rick Hightower. “Now, he did know these people."

Smith claims the men featured in the video are childhood friends of her husband and that the tribute was an attempt to honor them.

In a recent e-mail exchange with FoxNews.com, Smith wrote, “In the video, he was expressing his love and gratitude to his friends who have died fighting for freedom. … There is no difference in gratitude and love. It is just that your government has deemed these noble men as 'terrorists' because they are not on the same side.”

FoxNews.com also reported that in online postings Smith has celebrated the deaths of U.S. soldiers -- who she called terrorists -- at the hands of the Taliban in Afghanistan, applauded another user’s posting of a rendering of the two planes hitting the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001, and repeatedly called for jihad against the West.

But Smith has denied she is anti-American, saying she doesn't like how the U.S. government is treating people in other countries, but that she has a right to free speech.

"And to be called, what is it they're calling me, Jihad Kathie? That is horrible. I'm nothing like that," she told 6News.

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security confirmed to 6News that the agency has been made aware of the video of Smith and her husband.

Officials said it has been turned it over to state police and the Indiana Intelligence Fusion Center, which collects information to share with local, state and federal law enforcement.
As is standard practice, federal officials would not confirm nor deny they're investigating the couple.
