CARRYING SIGNS AT SERVICEMEN’S FUNERALS

WHAT WOULD WE HAVE DONE IF THEY HAD BEEN MUSLIMS INSTEAD OF FAKE CHRISTIANS?

It boggles the mind how some people’s ideology can motivate them to do stupid things. Never mind that it makes no sense to the great majority of Americans and also that it is downright insulting to do such a thing at the funeral of one of our fallen bravest.

But we have freedom of speech in America and it has even been determined by the courts that these assholes can do whatever they want and be as outrageous and insulting as they seem to be because we protect their freedom of expression…but do we? What would have happened if instead of these supposedly Christian fanatics if it would have been Muslim extremists? Would they even have gotten out of there alive?

You see, Muslims are even more respectful to the fallen than we are even when it has to do with an enemy soldier. The only time I have seen disrespect in this was in Somalia when American soldiers' bodies were dragged through the streets. But then again, we are not really talking about a Muslim nation but a country with no government where thugs and pirates rule.

In one of those incidents when the homophobic pseudo-Christians were picketing a serviceman’s funeral they had the tires of their van slashed…nobody knows who did it…would they have been Muslims it would have been their throats that would have been slashed.

As a country we should repudiate this kind of behavior and let them know that the great majority of Americans are not in agreement with their radical and askew philosophies, whether they are Christian or Muslim or believe in green unicorns from Tasmania. Our respect and gratefulness to these brave men and women in uniform will never tolerate acts of disrespect and insanity like these. Let it be known that while they might be gaining some notoriety; they are also losing any possibilities of their cause being seen as valid, freedom of speech being respected but not to be used like this…just like you can’t yell “fire” in a crowded theater; nobody should be able to disrespect a dead soldier.
