Christian Psychics Predict New Madrid Fault

A few years ago, I began to hear about the possibility of the New Madrid Fault system. The fault system was responsible for the 1811–1812 New Madrid earthquakes, and may have the potential to produce large earthquakes in the near future. The prophets of the New Apostolic Reformation, such as Joyner and Bentley, were the first to warn their followers about the earth potentially shifting. Almost weekly, Rick Joyner has begun releasing video warnings about Los Angeles and the New Madrid Fault lines, and asking people to prepare.

Jim Bakker, who was a televangelist and a former host of The PTL Club, got caught in a sex scandal and accounting fraud. Bakker has a close association with Rick Joyner, since he helped restore Bakker back into ministry after he was released from jail.[1] Another tie is that they are both members of the Knights of Malta, a religious order of the Roman Catholic church and a branch of Freemasonry.

Does this seem far fetched? Perhaps not. According to David Stewart, while in jail, Bakker, a former minister of the Assemblies of God, went to a Catholic priest to confess his sins.[2] Another dirty little secret is that there is a long list of Charismatics who are Freemasons, such as Pat Robertson, Tim LaHaye, Oral Roberts, just to mention a few.[3]

In the video below, I'd like to point out a few points that don't seem right.

• Jim is wearing a NOW cap. NOW is the acronym for National Organization of Women. It is the largest feminist organization in the United States.
• He mentions that there is going to be a major shaking in the Church. If he knows about the New Madrid Fault and the shaking in the Church, it makes you wonder what else he knows. Perhaps his connection to the Knights of Malta makes him privy to the information.
• Bakker is trying to make a buck from his survival food, along with asking for a $500 love gift. It makes you wonder if he was repentant.
• According to texnews.com: One day he's in his new home in Los Angeles, showing off the sprawling inner-city ministry where he lives in a dorm room with his son, Jamie, 22. The next he's back in Charlotte, N.C., his old hometown, predicting the end of the world in a rambling sermon in a nondescript office park.

I don't doubt that someday soon we will have a major earthquake in our country. I don't doubt that we are living in the last days. But the thing that makes me suspicious is that these false prophets are publicizing their prophetic outlook so that we will follow them when they are right. They've got a plan, and they aren't telling us what it is.

Largest Earthquake Drill In America History Along New Madrid Seismic Zone

Does anyone think it's strange that FEMA would select an inactive zone to hold their exercise? We've been watching the earthquake map for the past month, and the New Madrid zone is totally silent. Three million people will participate in a series of earthquake drills aimed at preparing for a large scale earthquake in the New Madrid Seismic Zone.

A couple months ago, FEMA requested 14 million emergency meals for the New Madrid Seismic Zone, as well as the coffins that have been waiting on the sidelines for the past few years. Why would our government spend all of this money in an inactive zone if they're only "practicing?"

This YouTuber tries to pull the pieces together to see how the government is planning an earthquake that will allow them to kill off part of our population. This makes you wonder if these severe storms we've had is possibly part of this weather modification/HAARP scenario. Paranoia is just good sense when someone is trying to kill you.

Barna Group Study: What Americans Believe About Universalism and Pluralism

Most Americans believe they, themselves, will go to heaven. Yet, when asked to describe their views about the religious destiny of others, people become much less forgiving. Some people might be described as inclusive—that is, embracing the notion that everyone—or nearly everyone—makes it into heaven. Others possess a generally exclusive take on faith, viewing the afterlife in a more selective manner.

A new analysis of Barna Group trend data explores whether Americans embrace inclusive or exclusive views of faith as well as how they operate within a context of religious pluralism, or the multi-faith nature of U.S. society. The research examines what Americans believe, whether there have been changes over time, and the degree to which younger generations are different from older adults.

Universalism
Broadly defined, universalism is the belief that all human beings will be saved after death. On balance, Americans leaned toward exclusive rather than inclusive views.(Read article)
  

Study Results Summarized: Universalism

• "It doesn’t matter what religious faith you follow because they all teach the same lessons.” Results: 43% agreed and 54% disagreed with the statement
• “All people will experience the same outcome after death, regardless of their religious beliefs” Results: 40% agreed, 55% disagreed
• “All people are eventually saved or accepted by God, no matter what they do, because he loves all people he has created” Results: 40% agreed, versus 50% disagreed
• “In life you either side with God or you side with the devil; there is no in-between position” Results: 69% disagreed, versus 27% agreed with the idea.
• “If a person is generally good or does enough good things for others, they will earn a place in heaven” Results: 48% agreed, while 44% disagreed 

Study Results: Pluralism

One aspect of exclusion and inclusion is how Americans’ relate to faiths other than their own, which is particularly important in a pluralistic, multi-faith society. On the evangelistic side, a slim majority of Americans:

• 51% believe they have “a responsibility to tell other people their religious beliefs.”
• 62% said it is important “to have active, healthy relationships with people who belong to religious faiths that do not accept the central beliefs of your faith.” 

In a mash-up of pluralism and universalism:

• 59% of adults believe that “Christians and Muslims worship the same God even though they have different names and beliefs regarding God.” 
• 43% Americans agreed to endorse the idea that “the Bible, the Koran, and the Book of Mormon are all different expressions of the same spiritual truths.” 
• 62% of the residents of Texas were equally likely as residents of New York to believe that Christians and Muslims worship the same deity. 
• Florida residents 58% were statistically similar. Yet, California was less likely to embrace the idea that Christians and Muslims worship the same deity 48%. 

The president of the Barna Group, pointed out that “the difference between the Christian community and the cultural norms is even more pronounced among the youngest generations. In other words, younger born again Christians’ attitudes about religious inclusivity and exclusivity are more divergent from their peers than is currently true of their parents’ generation. This gap represents increasing pressure on young believers to understand those differences and to find meaning and confidence in their faith convictions.

Bhutan: Their Intolerance for Christians

In the Kingdom of Bhutan, Christians have the right to proclaim their faith, but must not use coercion or claim religious superiority to seek conversions, the country’s prime minister has stated in an interview.

“I view conversions very negatively, because a conversion is the worst form of intolerance,” Jigmi Yoser Thinley said in his office in the capital of the predominantly Buddhist nation. 

“The first premise [of seeking conversion] is that you believe that your religion is the right religion, and the religion of the convertee is wrong – what he believes in is wrong, what he practices is wrong, that your religion is superior and that you have this responsibility to promote your way of life, your way of thinking, your way of worship,” Thinley said. “It’s the worst form of intolerance. And it divides families and societies.”[2]

Togbay said there are Christians who are tolerant and compassionate of other peoples, cultures and religions, but “there are Christians also who go through life on war footing to save every soul. That’s their calling, and it’s good for them, except that in Bhutan we do not have the numbers to accommodate such zeal.”

Interestingly, Bhutan’s current king, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk, who shapes the country’s foreign policy, studied at Phillips Academy, Cushing Academy, and Wheaton College in Massachusetts. But he has maintained a policy of “entertain, but not engage” with the United States. [3] They don't want to become westernized, although they are quite modernized with globally-minded ideas.

Do you see any parallels that can be drawn from this? Just as the Kingdom of Bhutan does not tolerate the thought that Christianity is superior, there will come a time when the laws in the US will prevent Christians from  seeking converts and witnessing for Christ for the same reasons. Intolerance toward Christians will become hip, and the laws will be there to back them.

Reviving the Spirit of Rome

Have you ever noticed how movies are getting bloodier and television programs are permitting bloodier scenes to be televised? This Christian video blogger believes it is all in preparation for the rise of the spirit of Rome. The Bible predicts a revival of the Roman spirit, yet this time, it shall consume the entire Globe. If it returns in all its dread and horror, shall we see a return of the Roman style games? Will Christians be the object of torment? Watch, and you decide. It makes sense. UN document would give 'Mother Earth' same rights as humans

UNITED NATIONS — Bolivia will this month table a draft United Nations treaty giving "Mother Earth" the same rights as humans — having just passed a domestic law that does the same for bugs, trees and all other natural things in the South American country.

The bid aims to have the UN recognize the Earth as a living entity that humans have sought to "dominate and exploit" — to the point that the "well-being and existence of many beings" is now threatened.

The wording may yet evolve, but the general structure is meant to mirror Bolivia's Law of the Rights of Mother Earth, which Bolivian President Evo Morales enacted in January.

That document speaks of the country's natural resources as "blessings," and grants the Earth a series of specific rights that include rights to life, water and clean air; the right to repair livelihoods affected by human activities; and the right to be free from pollution.

It also establishes a Ministry of Mother Earth, and provides the planet with an ombudsman whose job is to hear nature's complaints as voiced by activist and other groups, including the state.

"If you want to have balance, and you think that the only (entities) who have rights are humans or companies, then how can you reach balance?" Pablo Salon, Bolivia's ambassador to the UN, told Postmedia News. "But if you recognize that nature too has rights, and (if you provide) legal forms to protect and preserve those rights, then you can achieve balance."

The application of the law appears destined to pose new challenges for companies operating in the country, which is rich in natural resources, including natural gas and lithium, but remains one of the poorest in Latin America. (Read more)

U.S. Abandoning Dollar as the Main Global Reserve Currency

(Reuters) - A new United Nations report released on Tuesday calls for abandoning the U.S. dollar as the main global reserve currency, saying it has been unable to safeguard value.

But several European officials attending a high-level meeting of the U.N. Economic and Social Council countered by saying that the market, not politicians, would determine what currencies countries would keep on hand for reserves.

"The dollar has proved not to be a stable store of value, which is a requisite for a stable reserve currency," the U.N. World Economic and Social Survey 2010 said.

The report says that developing countries have been hit by the U.S. dollar's loss of value in recent years.
"Motivated in part by needs for self-insurance against volatility in commodity markets and capital flows, many developing countries accumulated vast amounts of such (U.S. dollar) reserves during the 2000s," it said.

The report supports replacing the dollar with the International Monetary Fund's special drawing rights (SDRs), an international reserve asset that is used as a unit of payment on IMF loans and is made up of a basket of currencies.

"A new global reserve system could be created, one that no longer relies on the United States dollar as the single major reserve currency," the U.N. report said.

The report said a new reserve system "must not be based on a single currency or even multiple national currencies but instead, should permit the emission of international liquidity -- such as SDRs -- to create a more stable global financial system." (Read more)

(USA Today) Based on 54,000 interviews conducted in 2008 by American Religious Identification Survey (ARIS), those claiming to have "No Religion," including atheists, agnostics and those who choose no religious identification, increased dramatically over the past 20 years. The states of New Hampshire and Vermont were leading the pack, with the northeast generally showing a lack of spiritual identity. (View the study)

The Courage & Motivating Factors of Dr. Terry Jones

The commotion being created over the Koran burning has really gotten tolerance-loving folks all riled up. This good vs. evil fight has many of the remnant Christians thinking, "At least someone has enough courage to stand up for what is right!" But there is something that drives Dr. Terry Jones that the media isn't talking about. This is because most people wouldn't know what the reporters were talking about, which is: Just as the Muslims want to take the world for Allah, Dr. Terry Jones wants to take the world for Jesus Christ. He believes in Dominion Theology, otherwise known as Kingdom Now. This is the desire to set-up God's Kingdom on earth before his arrival for the Church. Read his website statement about their beliefs. It doesn't come out and call it by name, but it's there.

So now that I only half admire him, let's see what he has to say. 

Ten Reasons to Burn the Koran

1. The Koran teaches that Jesus Christ, the Crucified, Risen Son of God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords was NOT the Son of God, nor was he crucified. This teaching removes the possibility of salvation and eternal life in heaven for all Islam's believers. They face eternal damnation in hell if they do not repent.
2. The Koran is not what Islam claims it to be. It does not have an eternal origin. It is not recorded in heaven. The Almighty God, Creator of the World, is NOT it's source. It is not holy. It's writings are human in origin, a concoction of old and new teachings.
3. The Koran's teaching includes Arabian idolatry, paganism, rites and rituals. These are demonic, an ongoing satanic stronghold under which Muslims and the world suffer.
4. The earliest writings that are known to exist about the Prophet Mohammad were recorded 120 years after his death. All of the Islamic writings (the Koran and the Hadith, the biographies, the traditions and histories) are confused, contradictory and inconsistent. We have no conclusive account about what he said or did. Yet Muslims follow the destructive teachings of Islam without question.
5. Mohammad's life and message cannot be respected. The first Meccan period of his leadership seems to have been religiously motivated and a search for the truth. But in the second Medina period he was openly corrupt, power hungry, and obsessed with selfish pleasures. These are characteristics that God hates. They also led to political assassinations and massacres which continue to be carried out on a regular basis by his followers today.
6. Islamic Law is totalitarian in nature. There is no separation of church and state. It is irrational. It is supposedly immutable and cannot be changed. It must be accepted without criticism. It has many similarities to Nazism, Communism and Fascism. It is not compatible with Western Civilization.
7. Islam is not compatible with democracy and human rights. The notion of a moral individual capable of making decisions and taking responsibility for them does not exist in Islam. The attitude towards women in Islam as inferior possessions of men has led to countless cases of mistreatment and abuse for which Muslim men receive little or no punishment. This is a direct fruit of the teachings of the Koran.
8. A Muslim does not have the right to change his religion. Apostasy is punishable by death.
9. Islamic teaching and culture consistently perpetuate an irrational fear and loathing of the West.
10. Islam is a weapon of Arab imperialism and Islamic colonialism. Where Islam has or gains political power, Christians, Jews and all non-Muslims suffer persecution and discrimination. This includes murders, rape, imprisonment and the destruction of churches, synagogues, temples and other places of worship.

Ken Ham Disinvited from Two Homeschool Conferences for Being Mean-spirited

Ken Ham, founder of Answers in Genesis, was disinvited from speaking at two homeschooling conferences because organizers felt he made “unnecessary, ungodly, and mean-spirited” remarks about the conventions and other speakers. Specifically, Ham accused Peter Enns, a senior fellow of biblical studies at the BioLogos Foundation based in San Diego, of not believing in a literal Adam and Fall. He also takes issue with Enns’s belief that sin should not be discussed with young children because it would cause problems with their view of God. [1]

In the past thirty years or so, various "evangelical" scholars and institutions have been moving away from traditional Christian doctrines concerning the nature of Scripture, and adopting views which are not essentially different from those espoused by liberal churchmen of the late nineteenth century.[2] Peter Enns comes from this liberal theological viewpoint. Subsequently, BioLogos Foundation believes that evolution, when understood properly, “best describes God’s work of creation.” BioLogos does not believe in young earth creationism, which Ham’s apologetics ministry Answers in Genesis does. Young earth creationism interprets the Genesis story of creation to mean that God created the Earth in six, 24-hour days.

In Brannon Howse style, Ham had made presentations on how Peter Enns was promoting unbiblical teachings and compromising the faith. He pointed out how Enns' curriculum totally undermines the authority of the Word of God. [3]  He also pointed out that Peter Enns had connections to another speaker, Susan Wise Bauer, whose company, Peace Hill Press, publishes his Bible curriculum.

The Advisory Board of Great Homeschool Conventions believes Ken’s comments to be unnecessary, ungodly, and mean-spirited statements that are divisive at best and defamatory at worst,” the homeschooling group wrote, however, that it is “100% young earth” in its scientific stance.[4]

Although they make these claims, Ham was disinvited from the Great Homeschool Conventions in Cincinnati, Ohio, March 31-April 2, and the one near Philadelphia, Pa., June 23-25.

Ham's Facebook page reads:

"Someone needs to stand against the compromise that is pouring into the church from many directions. ...Because we publicly exposed one of their speakers and his curriculum, because his beliefs clearly undermine the authority of Scripture, we apparently come under the heading of 'anti-Christian' in our actions." [5]

Jesuit Universities to Hold Conferences on ‘Sexual Diversity’

(CatholicCulture) Two Jesuit universities and two Protestant divinity schools will hold a series of conferences this fall devoted to “sexual diversity and the Catholic Church.”

The first conference, at Fordham University,

will shed light on the diverse, dynamic, and distinct views that active and former Catholics hold on the subject of sexual diversity. The focus will be not only on the issue of belief — what one thinks about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people or their sexuality — but also on practice — how one lives out the consequences of those beliefs and the Catholic Church’s teachings in daily life. In contrast to the pronouncements of Catholic church leaders and in addition to the voices of lay and ordained pro-LGBT Catholic activists, this conference aims to lift up a range of voices of American Catholics of all races, genders, social and economic backgrounds, and sexual orientations.The second conference will be devoted to “the fostering of a pro-queer life student/educational culture”; the advertisement for the third critiques the Connecticut bishops’ opposition to same-sex marriage.

“The Catholic Church has large numbers of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender laity engaged in pastoral work in the Church and many gay clergy,” according to the advertisement for the fourth conference, which will be held at Fairfield University. “But the official standpoint of the teaching Church makes their status as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender problematic for individuals, their communities, and the Church. This creates conflicts and tensions for many, while hiding the fact that all Christians contribute to Church life because of, not despite who they are.” (Source)

The universities that will cooperate in the dialogue are: Fordham University, Fairfield University, both Jesuit; Yale Divinity School and Union Theological Seminary, both considered as Protestant. [1] They are all liberal schools, all with an agenda.

Evangelical Delegation Extends Friendship to Mormons

(Christian Post) Traditionally, evangelicals and Mormons have regarded each other with suspicion and contact was kept at a minimum. But on Thursday, a high-profile delegation of evangelical leaders was hosted by Utah’s governor, a Mormon, at his mansion and spent time engaging with one of the top leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The event involving board members of the National Association of Evangelicals was the first time that anything close to an official evangelical council had come to Utah to listen and extend a hand of friendship to the LDS Church.

“I see the NAE coming to Utah, and not just meeting here but saying, ‘We want to meet at least one Mormon leader and extend the hand of friendship;’ I see that as a very historic and courageous act,” said Dr. Richard Mouw, president of Fuller Theological Seminary, to The Christian Post.

Mouw was among the NAE board members that participated in the organization’s semiannual meeting in Salt Lake City. He shared that he has been in dialogue with Mormon theologians for the past 11 years to help foster better understanding between the two faiths. (Read more)

Dr. Mouw doesn't stop there. In an article written originally for his weblog, Dr. Mouw sings the praises of Emergent Church leader Rob Bell, and says that there is nothing wrong with his theology. He also comments at the end of his article that Billy Graham isn't an Universalist as well.

The President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge

The President has issued a call to college presidents, faculty, staff -- and especially students -- to lead interfaith service initiatives on their campuses. It involves committing to a year of interfaith service initiatives in a spirit of interfaith and inter-cultural cooperation.[1]

To reflect back onto President Obama's inaugural address, he said:

"For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus, and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace."

What is really going on here with this campus challenge? In order for President Obama to reach the UN Millennial Goals, he is using the American college campuses and students to get the job done. By using religious pluralism and promoting Interfaith dialogue, the globalists hope to reduce conflicts between the religions and achieve mutually agreed upon goals.

In order to achieve an new era of peace, exclusivity will have to be brought to an end, such as Biblical Christianity. It teaches that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and truth. The true Church argues that it is necessary to suppress the falsehoods taught by other religions. The Globalist planner believe that this will never do!

Religious pluralism believes that it can stop all competition between religions and foster religious cooperation. It is summarized as an attitude which rejects focus on irrelevant differences, and instead gives respect to those beliefs held in common.This is a suitable plan for the unbelieving globalists, but it doesn't jive with born again believer; this is because all differences are relevant.

According to Eboo Patel, "This movement [the campus challenge] has been growing in significant ways on campuses across the country, at new places like University of South Carolina, Berea College and University of Tampa.

Everyone who professes to be a Christian would consider it very seriously, for separation from the world has always been one of the evidences of God's work of grace in our heart. Those who have really been born of God's Spirit have always been separated from the world, whereas those who are Christians only in name - always refuse to "Come out and be separate." In conclusion, being part of an Interfaith program like this is compromising.

New NIV Bible to Debut - the NIV 2011

(Christian Post) Say good-bye to the NIV Bible as we know it and say hello to the updated, gender-inclusive NIV Bible which debuts in stores this month.

Mega-publisher Zondervan printed 1.9 million copies of the updated NIV Bible in this first run, up from the original 1.4 million.

"This laydown of the NIV update is bigger than we imagined," said Chip Brown, senior vice president of Bibles for Zondervan, to The Christian Post. "A couple of retailers came in a little higher after seeing the marketing and products."

This spring and summer, the company is releasing 33 titles and 177 product SKUs featuring the updated NIV text. A second batch of 188 SKUs, including the updated edition of the NIV Study Bible, will join the new line this fall.

The updated NIV Bible is being promoted as the first update to the NIV in 25 years. In reality, the 2005 TNIV was the first attempt to update the 1984 NIV, but fallout from the evangelical community over its overt "gender inclusive" language led to its demise in 2009.

With the updated NIV Bible now in print form, it is expected that more evangelical scholars and pastors will fully weigh in on the revised translation in the coming weeks. (Read more)

With 2011 being the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible, another new age Bible version officially comes on the scene - the NIV 2011. The gender-inclusive, or gender neutral, version of the Bible aims to cater to the feminists. It will eliminate (or neutralize) reference to gender in terms that describe people. For example, the words chairman, fireman and stewardess are gender-specific. The corresponding gender-neutral terms are chairperson (or chair), firefighter and flight attendant.  Feminists argue that previously the practice of assigning masculine gender stemmed from language reflecting a male-centered, patriarchal society. The Today's NIV (TNIV) already has gender inclusive text, but it has some alterations to it to make it more palatable to evangelicals. The publisher says the NIV 2011 will replace both the 1984 and 2005 versions. So basically, the old one will no longer be in print. This version has already been in the making for years. The NIV is primarily a translation used by Evangelicals, so it was one of the last to be changed. All the following versions are "gender-inclusive" versions:

It is interesting to note that the King James Bible is the only version that is not copywritten. All other translations in print are owned by individuals.
