Privatize, privatize baby, privatize
If I remember my Physics correctly; there is a law that says that “if an inanimate object is hit by a moving one, the moving one will become inert and the one hit will then take on the impetus and begin to move”
Change is sometimes dictated by necessity; for example we see abbreviations in language with the advent of Twitter whereas for example in Spanish the word QUE becomes KE usually followed by a question mark. Brevity, frugality, efficiency oftentimes forces change to happen.
When this radical Republican-Teahadist comes up with this absurd plan he is already risking political suicide and gaining the animosity of the majority of Americans. End Medicare? Privatize Social Security? Not in our lifetimes…and it is not just seniors who will oppose it and stand in the way of this, it is the real need to have some kind of sanity, frugality and efficiency brought to our health care delivery system, an idea that is shared by the majority of Americans.
It is bound to happen; health insurers will certainly be left out of the equation because they are nothing but parasites which provide no real contribution to the equation other than being the middle man and skimming the profits. Even if they are to survive; these insurers will be forced by the need for efficiency to streamline and to accept a smaller share of the profits if there should be any. Why do I say this? Because in the real world making a profit out of people’s misery is totally immoral.
“Representative Paul Ryan’s budget proposal to end traditional Medicare for future generations would benefit private insurers, whose employees have given the Wisconsin Republican more money than any other industry.
Ryan has received $672,203 from insurance employees and their families since 1997, his largest industry source of campaign donations, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a Washington research group. The figure includes all insurers, not just health-insurance companies. Employees of Blue Cross/Blue Shield companies and their trade group gave $48,650, his ninth-largest individual source of funds.
His proposal would transform Medicare, the federal health- care program for senior citizens, for all Americans now 54 and under. Under his budget plan released yesterday, the government would provide subsidies for the purchase of private insurance.”
