WHY ARE YOU SO ANGRY, SO “ENERGIZED”, SO VOCIFEROUS?

I think I know the answer to that. May I offer it to you? You are angry for many reasons; ranging from your own helplessness to exact any change in your Government to your perceived embattled status within society. You are basically worried that they “are taking away your America”. It is a common fear, one that those who really don’t have anything and wish they did have something fear most. You are at the bottom of the food chain in this country and you see others…very different than yourself getting ahead…America is not WASPH any more (White, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant, Heterosexual) and that bothers you terribly…you are basically distrustful of those who are different and you hate this diversity bull shit; don’t you? You see a very educated man in the White House and that just pisses you off to no end.

Also, you know deep down that you understand so little how government works and how the economy is run. Because of your own ignorance you distrust government and you believe the nice man who comes down from somewhere to help organize those protests and rallies…that nice man gives you a little speech that may go like this: We have to protect our freedom…we have to defend our Constitution, we have to secure the future of our children; we have to stop this SOCIALIST take over; we have to, we have to, and you just repeat those empty words that to you are meaningful…yet the nice man does not go beyond that…he does not explain anything else to you; like what if any are the ideas that he has to improve the system or if there are solutions that could be instituted. No, the nice man doesn’t even know that himself because he has no fucking idea either…he knows that there is a paycheck at the end of the rally and that may very well come from the Koch brothers or from Fox. So he doesn’t care what you really think…or rather he knows you don’t really think. He is using you and your are but a pawn in the greater scheme of things.

And then you go out there and participate in a protest…you tell some news reporter that “Washington is not listening” that you are ready to take up arms if necessary if your Tea Bag Party doesn’t get their candidates elected. Listen douche bag…do you know why Washington or anybody else for that matter is not listening? It is because you have nothing to say…you are meaningless, you are doing this because you need validation and even realize the dream of your fifteen minutes of fame which have been denied to you because you didn’t even finished the seventh grade. Your signs say "Get a brain!" and you don't have one moron. (brain moran???)

THE TEA BAG PEOPLE DON’T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT WHAT THEY ARE SAYING IS THAT NO ONE LISTENS TO THEM.

There are a lot of clues that the signs carried by these “Tea Baggers” can give you. The first one is that it is about ME, ME, ME, Listen to me, I am taxed to death, I am important, I am not ignorant, I am, I am, blah, blah, blah. You can’t tell what is in their hearts but those signs they carry tell us a lot about them. So now we are listening to you…after all the gratuitous publicity your disruptive and boorish behavior has gained for you…but you are still not saying anything relevant.

Because when you ask them about issues they don’t have a clue. No, big government, no more spending, I want my country back, no socialism, impeach Obama, our President is a Nazi, a racist, blah, blah, blah. Your signs also tell us that you are rather uneducated and ignorant judging by the way they are misspelled and the wrong assumptions they make. Most of these people can't tell you where Iraq is...or what is the name of that country's capital.

Amazingly, they talk about their taxes being raised…but wait a minute…are they part of that 2% of super-rich Americans who received a gift from George W. Bush in the form of very generous tax cuts? No, they are not…they are among those who actually have benefited from President Obama’s and the Democrats reducing taxes for most Americans. These people are constantly pointing to the Constitution as if they are the defenders, the protectors of that document, yet we hear a different tune with all the crap the Republicans are now bringing up about changing or eliminating the 14th Amendment...yes, the Constitution they seemed to be enamored with but would want to change.

Unfortunately, they get their news from Fox who repeatedly misleads and lies to them or from Rushie Bouncie-Bouncie Lindbaugh who not only lies but deliberately exploits their fears and insecurities. I also think that the underlying theme that motivates these Tea Baggers is that they resent diversity, they dislike the fact that they are not a majority that is privileged to be on the top of the food chain. America now belongs to everyone, not just WASPH (white, Anglo-Saxon, protestant heterosexuals) and the fact that there is a black man in the White House troubles them immensely.

For the life of me I can’t figure out whether these people have thought about our predicament, the mess we are in and who caused it and what President Obama has already done to prevent a major economic catastrophe, to put it mildly: he has saved us in a nick of time from what the Bush and Republican clowns left us. Yet those same Tea Party protesters were nowhere to be found during the Bush years and Bush did some awful things…he actually didn’t do one single thing that helped America in eight years and that is saying a lot.

But you ask any Tea Bagger and they don’t have any alternatives, they are like parrots repeating slogans and talking points. Sadly, it is my impression they are terribly uneducated if one is to judge by the often misspelled signs. What is it that they want; do they really want to impeach President Obama? Bush had over 35 clear and damming impeachable offenses and he got through his eight years. He should be tried and convicted in the International Court in The Hague even if we don’t do anything to punish him here in America.
