The fragmentation of Android is going to get worse?

The fragmentation of the Android platform is sufficiently complicated for users, but now there is a risk that confusion is added to the confusion. Android Honeycomb 3.0 per tablet will be available soon, while a ratio of Pocket-lint suggests that Google would launch a version of the operating system in between the smartphone and the tablet to be able to run some app Honeycomb.

Honeycomb is labeled as Android 3.0, but there will be no 3.0 for mobile phones, instead they will receive the update Gingerbread (well, some of these phones will receive it) to version 2.3.

The 2.4, code-named Cream, should allow you to run some app designed for the dual-core and Honeycomb on a standard processor core on a screen much smaller. The supposed date for the launch of this new update should be summer, but obviously this is just rumors.
