HP has the competitor to the iPhone from the ashes of Palm

When HP bought Palm last year certainly did not have kept secret the fact that Pam such as the webOS should have become the weapons for use in the commercial battle with Apple in the smartphone market and mobile phone.

Now, the event's official now, HP has finally started to implement its acquisition by HP Veer, a small black and rounded phone that should act as a bridge linking the future of phones and smartphones.

With a 2-inch touch screen and a half and a sliding QWERTY keyboard, the Veer work through a 800MHz processor and comes with 8GB of memory. It connects to WiFi networks, equipped with a GPS chip and also offers a 5 megapixel camera (without flash).

The connection can be used to create Veer un'hotspot (a bit 'on the iPhone as Verizon and, hopefully, with IOS 4.3).

Seems like a good phone. IPhone is not trying to beat a game created by Apple, as trying to attract an entirely different type of customer. What I would buy a mini-phone instead of an iPhone.
